On the Romania charts, superstar ISIS’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. This is one of the best Cd’s ISIS has dropped to date. This album has some very good songs like Wrists Of Kings and Not In Rivers, But In Drops. In The Absence Of Truth is the best essence of ISIS.
Album opener Not In Rivers, But In Drops is a bright, upbeat ditty. Dulcinea - A catchy, upbeat tune. Over Root And Thorn is probably one of ISIS’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. 1000 Shards is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through In The Absence Of Truth. All Out Of Time, All Into Space great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.This track is just fantastic from start to finish. The sound of Firdous E Bareen is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. No ISIS song has come close to capturing my attention as Garden Of Light did.
