Since completing 2004’s ‘So Did We’, ISIS fulfilled their contract with EMI Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Now signed to ISIS’s EMI Records, the title track from second album “Panopticon” leads ISIS’s back-to-school campaign. Bun B. Hear has compared writing for ISIS’s new album to that on ‘Panopticon’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about ISIS ever.
Backlit is a striking and quite long song. It’s a great pleasure to listen to In Fiction from the beginning to the end. The first time I listened to Wills Dissolve I was struck by its cool sound. I like to sing along with Syndic Calls, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Altered Course - a classic song. Grinning Mouths is the funkiest number on the album.
