‘The Streets of Bollywood’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Diverse’s debut, ‘The Streets of Bollywood’, does not fit easily into one genre. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Diverse’s album The Streets of Bollywood falls to No. 2 with 441,000, a sales slide of 78%. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like The Streets of Bollywood.
Kumar Sanu - Alka Yagnik _ Hunterz - Baby Girl (Aap Ka Aana) - A nice song. The song feels complete. Put Lata Mangeshkar - S P Balasubramanyam - Metz&Trix _ Ladies In A Frenzey (Deedee Tera Devar Diwana) into car stereo for your highway driving This track is clearly meant to showcase Diverse’s vocal abilities. Gurdas Maan _ Kuriye Panjab Diye is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. All of songs on The Streets of Bollywood and have something to say letting alone Udit Narayan - Pamela Jain - Metz&Trix _ Your Coming With Me (Dil Leke). Lata Mangeshkar _ Rangeela Re defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Mohd Rafi _ O Haseena - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. I was truly moved when I heard Asha Bosle _ Yeh Mera Dil. Don’t judge Hazara Singh Ramta _ Jugni on the first listening. Mohd. Rafi&Chorus _ Jhut Boliya Koi Na (5:27) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Diverse is one of artists that allow his songs like Surinder Shinda _ Yenke Love You Karde to stand on their own and be heard. Gurdas Maan _ Oh! Kithe Dhol Vajda is Diverse’s best work in years. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive.
