Peaceful Death and Pretty Flowers is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Now signed to Dead Horse’s Virgin Records, the title track from second album “Peaceful Death and Pretty Flowers” leads Dead Horse’s back-to-school campaign. This is my first Dead Horse Album and i must say i am blown away.
This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Some call La La Song from Peaceful Death and Pretty Flowers as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Like Asrielle is a amazing, simple song by Dead Horse at the top of his game. The Latent Stage - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Peaceful Death pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Eulogy - For me, this is the best of the album. If you are a Dead Horse fan, you will love Snowdogs. It took me a little time but I ended up loving The Lark Nest. Medulla Oblongata is simply cool. Lyrics of Aplo are precise and evocative. Rock Lobster is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Sawbone is the albums biggest surprise. Every God For Himself is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Peaceful Death and Pretty Flowers. Simple and heartfelt closing track Waiting For The Sun closes Peaceful Death and Pretty Flowers on a high note.
