It has been sixteen years Willie Colon’ last studio CD, “Corazon Guerrero” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Lead single “” and “Dormido, No” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Since Willie Colon last CD (Corazon Guerrero) on Savoy Records back in 2006, I have felt a massive void in my life. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
Music and lyrics of Dormido, No creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. No Willie Colon song has come close to capturing my attention as did. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. The sound in is really warm and Willie Colon’s signature voice is still very much present. I’ve found myself listening to back to back and back many times.
