four years ago, Willie Colon briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Oiga Senor”. Guisando is an amazing album, racked with beauty.After seeing Se Baila Mejor, I had to have a good Willie Colon cd. Willie Colon is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Oiga Senor - A classic Willie Colon track. Te Estan Buscando is the first taste of the new album. Still going through Guisando and coming to appreciate Titan - Colon, Willie, Hector Lavoe more and more with every listen. I Wish I Had a Watermelon is one of the best records ever. Only one song from Guisando named No Me Den Candela really got me. Willie Colon offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself.
