‘Free the Bees’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. There is no doubt that The Bees has talent. While no new The Bees album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2004 tour in South America. This is my first The Bees Album and i must say i am blown away.
I now have Wash In the Rain as one of my personal favorites. No Atmosphere is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Horseman is really the reason why I recommend buying Free the Bees. Chicken Payback is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. I like to sing along with The Russian, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. When listening to The Start, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Hourglass - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Free the Bees. One Glass Of Water is the albums biggest surprise. This Is the Land - For me, this is the best of the album.
