Lead single “Good Way” and “No Escape” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This album has some very good songs like Good Way and No Escape. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Northern Lite energies, virtually a rebirth. Such great and happy songs.
It’s a great pleasure to listen to No Escape from the beginning to the end. Go With The Flow - To me, this is the best song on the Temper. Facts Of Life is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Mirrorshape is exquisite and different song. Pleasant Melodies is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Love On Demand sets the tone for the entire album. Northern Lite offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Something is possibly the best song Northern Lite has come up. I Want More is cool song though, very addictive. Northern Lite breathes new life into the music in Too Fast. I’ve found myself listening to Left Behind back to back and back many times. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is I Don’t Know You.
