I hope to keep hearing Michel Legrand works for a long time to come. In Cash And Carry Michel Legrand is at his best. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think His Eyes, Her Eyes is my favorite song on The Thomas Crown Affair. Playing The Field is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. I have all of Michel Legrand’s tracks and Moments Of Love is probably the most his introspective effort. Michel Legrand has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Doubting Thomas has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. The Crowning Touch - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Theme From The Thomas Crown Affair (The Windmills Of Your Mind) as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. His Eyes, Her Eyes is exquisite work of Michel Legrand.
