So This Is Great Britain carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. It has been two years Holloways’ last studio CD, “So This Is Great Britain” which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. Since Holloways last CD (So This Is Great Britain) on Sparrow Records back in 2006, I have felt a massive void in my life. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like So This Is Great Britain.
I’ve found myself listening to Generator back to back and back many times. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Fit for a Fortnight is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Two Left Feet - Check out that bassline! Re-Invent Myself? is a song to enjoy for years to come. Most Lonely Face is one of the best records ever. Malcontented One is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Music in Happiness and Penniless is astounding as in all tracks of So This Is Great Britain. What’s the Difference? can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Holloways is all about. I now have Diamonds and Pearls as one of my personal favorites. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. After few listenings I started to like Fuck Ups more and more.
