This album has some very good songs like Always a Flame and Shame. Since Gene Loves Jezebel last CD (Immigrant) on Capitol Records back in 2005, I have felt a massive void in my life. Since completing 2005’s ‘Always a Flame’, Gene Loves Jezebel fulfilled their contract with Capitol Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This is my first Gene Loves Jezebel Album and i must say i am blown away.
Shame is a astounding, simple song by Gene Loves Jezebel at the top of his game. I like to sing along with Stephen, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Immigrant to me is the best you can get from Gene Loves Jezebel. Cow motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Worth Waiting For is a bit different from Gene Loves Jezebel stereotypical stuff. The sound of Rhino Plasty is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Deep South Wale one of the best in my collection. Coal Porter is a fine track on any terms.
