This disc has all of the essential Gene Loves Jezebel classics. There is no doubt that Gene Loves Jezebel has talent. Since completing 2005’s ‘Upstairs’, Gene Loves Jezebel fulfilled their contract with ForeFront Records and where under no obligation to release another album. IT makes me wanna dance!
Bruises - This is a very lively song. Pop Tarantula gets you up and jumping. Screaming for Emmalene is perfect song though, very addictive. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. I like to sing along with Breas from Heaven, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Shower Me with Brittle Punches is a perfect, simple song by Gene Loves Jezebel at the top of his game. I love the melodic melody of Wraps and Arms and to this day it makes me feel good. Psychological Problems stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty.
