While no new Fra Lippo Lippi album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2005 tour in Australia. When you buy a Fra Lippo Lippi album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Fra Lippo Lippi’s debut, ‘The Early Years’, does not fit easily into one genre. Such great and happy songs.
No Fra Lippo Lippi song has come close to capturing my attention as Small Mercy did. When listening to Barrier, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Sense of Doubt as a highlight of The Early Years contains a ton of excellent melodies. What sets Treasure apart is Fra Lippo Lippi’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. A great put together song. Now and Forever is Fra Lippo Lippi’s best work in years. French Painter Dead is exquisite song though, very addictive. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Out of the Ruins from the beginning to the end. Fra Lippo Lippi rocks harder than ever with Moment Like This. I have all of Fra Lippo Lippi’s tracks and In Silence is probably the most his introspective effort. Recession great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.I like to sing along with Inside Veil, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. I Know is almost impossible to review. Quiet has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Vocals of Fra Lippo Lippi in say something really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm.
