It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Beautiful Sin energies, virtually a rebirth. Now signed to Beautiful Sin’s ForeFront Records, the title track from second album “The Unexpected (Limited Edition)” leads Beautiful Sin’s back-to-school campaign. Beautiful Sin had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. If I may, I suggest “Lost”. That one song is amazing!
Opening track This is not the original Dream shows the best of Beautiful Sin. Music of Take me home is gentle, never overbearing. IV‘m real one of the best in my collection. As always, Beautiful Sin’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Closer to my Heart is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Give up Once for All is a good listen every once in a while. Brace for Impact is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Pechvogel (Unlucky Fellow) is a strong cut, one of many. Metalwaves is excellent song though, very addictive. This is one hell of a track. Simple and heartfelt closing track Le Reve Originel (Limited Bonustrack) closes The Unexpected (Limited Edition) on a high note.
