The Cribs isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This album is in perfect progression from The Cribs!
You Were Always the One is outstanding work of The Cribs. Lights Went Out is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. You & I - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of The Cribs. Things You Should Be Knowing without a doubt is the standout song of The Cribs. After you’ve listened to Another Number, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. I loved What About Me the first time I heard it. Learning How to Fight is just simply stunning. Tri’elle is a bit different from The Cribs stereotypical stuff. Baby Don’t Sweat is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Direction - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor.
