Balance isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. After seeing De Nua, I had to have a good Sara Tavares cd. Sara Tavares had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This is what good Folk should be.
Muna Xeia one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Planeta Sukri the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Novidadi is a bit different from Sara Tavares stereotypical stuff. Dam Bo is a great opener for Balance. Guisa is almost impossible to review. Listening to Amore E you can hear that Sara Tavares has still amazing chemistry with band members. The sound of Poka Terra is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Ess Amor is really a nice song to relax and listen too. One Love is probably one of Sara Tavares’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. You have to get essence of the Lisboa Kuya’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Balance, which shows, blatantly, how much Sara Tavares has evolved as a singer. Best song on the album, love it.
