This disc has all of the essential Masada classics. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Masada energies, virtually a rebirth. While no new Masada album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2005 tour in North America. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Metal Tov can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Masada is all about. Karaim is a amazing, simple song by Masada at the top of his game. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Although Abidan is very melodic it is far from sad. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. I’ve found myself listening to Kedem back to back and back many times. I like the idea behind Yatzar.
