Morph The Cat is the best essence of Donald Fagen.
Musically What I Do is superior to other tracks in Morph The Cat. Brite Nitegown (7:17) - awsome. The Great Pagoda of Funn is probably the most interesting track on Morph The Cat. After about the third Security Joan listen through, I began to believe this song is Donald Fagen’s essence. The Night Belongs To Mona is really the reason why I recommend buying Morph The Cat. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists.
