Extraordinary Ways isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. On Extraordinary Ways album, Conjure One have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Conjure One’s debut, ‘Extraordinary Ways’, does not fit easily into one genre. To me Conjure One is the best band ever.
Face The Music - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Conjure One. After about the third Pilgrimage listen through, I began to believe this song is Conjure One’s essence. Musically One Word is superior to other tracks in Extraordinary Ways. I Believe is a marvelous song and it grows on you. Beyond Being catches attention immediately, Charming song, great melody. Dying Light is a strong cut, one of many. When listening to Forever Lost, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Into The Escape is Conjure One’s best work in years.
