Since Strike Anywhere last CD (To Live In Discontent) on Savoy Records back in 2005, I have felt a massive void in my life. There is no doubt that Strike Anywhere has talent. This fourteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Strike Anywhere has. IT makes me wanna dance!
Antidote has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Strike Anywhere must have run out of lyrics on the next track Chorus Of One. Question The Answer - My least favorite song on this album. Incendiary is Strike Anywhere’s best work in years. Strike Anywhere rocks harder than ever with Earthbound. Notes On Pulling The Sky Down presents the perfect mix of instruments on To Live In Discontent. Album opener Cassandratic Equation is a bright, upbeat ditty. Two Fuses is a good listen every once in a while. Sunspotting is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Two Sides is astounding. Values Here is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Where Are They Now is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite.
