After seeing A Llama Eats A Giraffe (and Vice Versa), I had to have a good Showbread cd. This is the first studio album from Showbread since bad diagnosis in 2004. No Sir, Nihilism Is Not Practical isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. No Sir, Nihilism Is Not Practical touched my soul like nothing else.
Dead By Dawn is a very catchy tune. Mouth Like A Magazine is one of the best records ever. Showbread has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Sampsa Meets Kaftka can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Showbread is all about. Charming song, great melody. The Missing Wife - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Showbread. Nice and different song. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Stabbing Art To Death is a medium tempo tune. I loved The Dissonance Of Discontent the first time I heard it. Matthias Replaces Judas is the more seemingly obscure song on No Sir, Nihilism Is Not Practical that bear up best to repeated listening. A great put together song.
