There is so much to love about Pinback, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Since Pinback last CD (Summer In Abaddon) on Mute Records back in 2004, I have felt a massive void in my life. I am not a real Indie music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Summer In Abaddon’ really is amazing. I Love Summer In Abaddon from start to finish!
Sender is a bit of a show-tune. This song stands out greatly from the others. Bloods On Fire is simply marvelous. Fortress is really a nice song to relax and listen too. This Red Book is a exquisite sing-along. Strong, powerful vocals of Pinback in Soaked are very impressive. After you’ve listened to 3×0, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. You can find feelings on this piece of art. AFK is a strong cut, one of many.
