Since completing 2006’s ‘Teri Deewani’, Kailash Kher fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Kailash Kher’s album Kailasa falls to No. 2 with 375,000, a sales slide of 53%. For older fans Kailasa will put a massive smile accross your face. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Tauba Tauba
One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Tauba Tauba because the melody in the chorus is so good. Musically Dilruba is superior to other tracks in Kailasa. Jana Jogi De Naal is absolutely incredible. I like Kaise Main Kahoon because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Naiharwa still maintains something of a specific flourish. Albela Sajan is probably the highlight of the album. Tauba Tauba - Remix stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Allah Ke Bande - Live is a excellent sing-along.
