Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Blitzkrieg on ‘Hell Express’. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Blitzkrieg’s album Sins And Greed falls to No. 2 with 990,000, a sales slide of 80%. On Sins And Greed album, Blitzkrieg have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Overall, I would highly recommend Sins And Greed CD.
|titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Sins And Greed. Rise has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Blitzkrieg’s strong vocals come to the fore. After few listenings I started to like Traitors Gate more and more. Music of Excessive Force is gentle, never overbearing. Escape From The Village is a bit of a show-tune. Eyes Of The World can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Blitzkrieg is all about. Calm Waters is pretty funky and mellow. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Silent Scream - Okay, I just talked about depth. Nice and different song. Hell Bent For Leather is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction.
