There is no doubt that The Fall has talent. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of The Fall on ‘All Clasp Hands’. Jim Jones has compared writing for The Fall’s new album to that on ‘Interim’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This is my first The Fall Album and i must say i am blown away.
Blindness marked the continuation of The Fall in style evolution. What About Us? - This is a very lively song. I’m Ronney The Oney is one of these floating songs. Green-Eyed Snorkel make listening to The Fall like being in some sort of time warp. In Mod Mock Goth it becomes nowhere more obvious that The Fall has yet to define own style. Wrong Place is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Sparta Fc No.3 has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Mere Pseud Mag Ed actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on The Fall’s face. Spoilt Victorian Childe is the albums biggest surprise. The Fall has astounded me with this amazing track.
