This is one of the best Cd’s Jibbs has dropped to date. Self-described as Rap: Hip-Hop with lots of words, Jibbs comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. There is no doubt that Jibbs has talent. Such great and happy songs.
Smile defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. There is excellent mix of music in Chain Hang Low. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Big Big Kid. Jibbs sings his heart out in Let’s Be Real - Jibbs, J. Valentine. King Kong - Chamillionaire, Jibbs the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Hood is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Some of the arrangements found on Jibbs Feat. Jibbs are surprisingly edgy. Jibbs sings Go Too Far - Jibbs, Melody Thornton in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. One listen to the sheer beauty of I’m a Rhino was all I needed. This track is a great song that still never gets old. In Firr Az That Thang you won’t find any flashy solos.
