Since Capone last CD (Mexican Bad Azz) on Virgin Records back in 2004, I have felt a massive void in my life. Capone’s debut, ‘Mexican Bad Azz’, does not fit easily into one genre. When you buy a Capone album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Another great offering from Capone.
Capone breathes new life into the music in Por Eso. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Charming song, great melody. The song Good Girl’s ending is my favorite… so catchy! Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. I loved Mi Perro Conejo the first time I heard it. Mi Jefita (Based On A True Story) is another favourite of mine. This track is clearly meant to showcase Capone’s vocal abilities. Getaway (feat. D.Acosta and Jamie Matchett) (4:01) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. An O.G. is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. No More - another great track from the Mexican Bad Azz album. This is probably my favorite song on the album. I now have Latino Jam Cartel (feat. Cynical, C26, Monsta and Q-Ball) as one of my personal favorites. Voice and instruments in Jefes De Mexico (Radio Edit) complement each other.
