Self-described as Pop with lots of words, Lene Marlin comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. It has been five years Lene Marlin’ last studio CD, “Lost in a Moment” which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Lene Marlin energies, virtually a rebirth. To me Lene Marlin is the best band ever.
All I Can Say gets you up and jumping. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Hope You’re Happy is outstanding work of Lene Marlin. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Leave My Mind is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. When You Were Around is probably the highlight of the album. This track is clearly meant to showcase Lene Marlin’s vocal abilities. Eyes Closed is a very catchy tune. After about the third It’s True listen through, I began to believe this song is Lene Marlin’s essence. If you are a Lene Marlin fan, you will love Wish I Could.
