I am not a real Metal: Progressive music type of person, but i have to admit ‘The Final Experiment Special Edition (Bonus CD)’ really is amazing. Thom Yorke has compared writing for Ayreon’s new album to that on ‘The Final Experiment Special Edition (Bonus CD)’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Ayreon energies, virtually a rebirth. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Eyes Of Time
Eyes Of Time - another great track from the The Final Experiment Special Edition (Bonus CD) album. The Accusation is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through The Final Experiment Special Edition (Bonus CD). I loved Ye Courtyard Minstrel Boy the first time I heard it. After you’ve listened to Sail Away To Avalon, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Nature’s Dance is marvelous and different song. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Merlin’s Will is another strong production from Ayreon. The Charm Of The Seer is the album’s biggest hit, I think.
