It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Sister Hazel energies, virtually a rebirth. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Sister Hazel. On the Canada charts, superstar Sister Hazel’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Another great offering from Sister Hazel.
Mandolin Moon (Feat. Shawn Mullins) is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. I like the idea behind Meet Me In The Memory. Beautiful High has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. In Hey Hey Sister Hazel is at his best. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Although Tear By Tear is very melodic it is far from sad. Where Do You Go - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. This track is full of harmonies and gets Absolutely off to a relaxing start. This Kind Of Love is outstanding work of Sister Hazel. This is probably my favorite song on the album. What sets One Time apart is Sister Hazel’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Everything Else Disappears is perfect.
