While no new Rogue Wave album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2005 tour in Africa. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Rogue Wave on ‘Bird On A Wire’. ‘Descended Like Vultures’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Publish My Love
Publish My Love is probably the most interesting track on Descended Like Vultures. Music and lyrics of Salesman At The Day Of The Parade creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. In Catform you won’t find any flashy solos. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Love’s Lost Guarantee. California is really the reason why I recommend buying Descended Like Vultures. Are You On My Side is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Still going through Descended Like Vultures and coming to appreciate Medicine Ball more and more with every listen. I think You is the best song Rogue Wave has ever done. Temporary is one of the coolest songs Rogue Wave has ever recorded.
