It’s natural for Julie London to take a stab at ‘How Did He Look’ considering her long-professed love for Azymuth. While no new Julie London album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2006 tour in Asia. Now signed to Julie London’s EMI Records, the title track from second album “Julie-Love on the Rocks” leads Julie London’s back-to-school campaign. Julie-Love on the Rocks is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
What’s New is possibly the best song Julie London has come up. I came to like End Of A Love Affair. Cottage For Sale is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Where Are You the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Willow Weep For Me is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Guess Who I Saw Today pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Where Did The Gentleman Go gets you up and jumping. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Man That Got Away is perfect. Love On The Rocks is astounding.
