After debuting at No. 1 last week, Chingon’s album Azteca De Oro falls to No. 2 with 904,000, a sales slide of 92%. On Azteca De Oro album, Chingon have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. sixteen years ago, Chingon briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Yego Don Chingon”. If you want to hear real Dance, get this record now!
From the moment you listen to Yego Don Chingon you’re hooked. I was truly moved when I heard Soy Sexy. V.I.P. - Chingon, Kosmet - Chingon first major hit. Got It - Chingon, Spanky Loco is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Azteca De Oro. Chingon allows each song to breathe and flourish. So much energy, so exciting a sound.First time I heard Kill-A-Man - Chingon, Mr. Shadow was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Love the Way - Chingon is a very catchy tune. Villa is the albums biggest surprise. California Breeze is another strong production from Chingon. Mexicans Storming - Chingon has a fun tempo. I came to like Till the End. The opening track Surprize, Surprize - Chingon, Goblin is very much like you would expect from other albums. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is When the Shit Gets Real because the melody in the chorus is so good.
