Jim Jones has compared writing for The Association’s new album to that on ‘And Then…Along Comes the Association’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like And Then…Along Comes the Association.
I came to like Your Own Love. Put Don’t Blame It On Me into car stereo for your highway driving Blistered - A strong beat. I’ll Be Your Man - This is a very lively song. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. The Association allows each song to breathe and flourish. I like the idea behind Standing Still. Message Of Our Love is simply gorgeous. Round Again - The Association first major hit. The sound in Remember is really warm and The Association’s signature voice is still very much present. Changes the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe.
