Since completing 2005’s ‘Heelz’, Equipto fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. ‘Horns and Halos’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Mila Sparrow has compared writing for Equipto’s new album to that on ‘Horns and Halos’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. I wish that “Horns and Halos” album was instrumental.
Morire Da Solo (Die Alone) good vocals. A great put together song. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Boss Soss Talk is a song to enjoy for years to come. Blew our minds when we first heard Git Down. Dedicate Yo Life To This P is a very catchy tune. Tina Terry pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. I listened to the opening track Blueberry Rain and liked it a lot. 2 B U can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Equipto is all about. I’m Gone is one of the more up-tempo songs on Horns and Halos. Upgrade Call is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Lyrics of Holla 4 Madonna are precise and evocative. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Somethin’ Holy Like Qur’an.
