It’s natural for Avalanch to take a stab at ‘Juego Cruel’ considering her long-professed love for U2. Avalanch had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. On Las Ruinas Del Eden album, Avalanch have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. The opening track Xana is very much like you would expect from other albums. The song Lucero ending is my favorite… so catchy! As always, Avalanch’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. El Angel Caido - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. I find myself hearing bits of El Viejo Torreon here and there throughout my waking hours. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Avalanch. Pelayo is the albums biggest surprise. Levantate Y Anda is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Musically Antojo De Un Dios is superior to other tracks in Las Ruinas Del Eden. Once you hear Cambaral, you will listen to it over and over. The first time I listened to Las Ruinas Del Eden I was struck by its amazing sound.
