Anthology: The Phonogram Years (cd1) is an amazing album, racked with beauty. This is the first studio album from The Mission Uk since bad diagnosis in 2006. IF YOU LIKE ALL The Mission Uk’S SONG GO FOR IT! I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Kingdom Come [Liz Kershaw BBC Radio Session]. Beyond the Pale [7″ Version] is the album’s biggest hit, I think. The Mission Uk is hitting on all cylinders in Tomorrow Never Knows [Aphetamix]. Severina [7″ Version] is such a amazing and optimistic song that things can get just better. Wasteland [7″ Version] is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. And the Dance Goes On… [God’s Own Medicine Album Track] is a very catchy tune. If you are a The Mission Uk fan, you will love Blood Brother [Live][#]. Stay with Me [7″ Version] has a fun tempo. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Crystal Ocean [Edit] stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. The Mission Uk offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Serpent’s Kiss is simply perfect.
