Team Sleep’s debut, ‘Team Sleep’, does not fit easily into one genre. Team Sleep isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Since Team Sleep last CD (Team Sleep) on Sparrow Records back in 2005, I have felt a massive void in my life. I Love Team Sleep from start to finish!
Ever is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. If you are a Team Sleep fan, you will love Your Skull Is Red. Princeton Review good vocals. In Blvd. Knights Team Sleep is at his best. Delorian is nothing but pure genius. Our Ride To The Rectory one of the best in my collection. After you’ve listened to Tomb Of Liegia, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Elizabeth is a strong cut, one of many. Staring At The Queen is just simply stunning. Ever Since Wwi is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. What sets King Diamond apart is Team Sleep’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Live From The Stage - This one is lively and fun. The song feels complete. 11-11 which is my favorite is a truly Team Sleep sounding song.
