twelve years ago, Eskobar briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Into Space”. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Eskobar. This disc has all of the essential Eskobar classics. I wish that “There’s Only Now” album was instrumental.
Eskobar sings Into Space in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Move On. Voice of Eskobar in On a Train [*] is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. On the Ground which is my favorite is a truly Eskobar sounding song. Save the Day has a fun tempo. You have to get essence of the She’s Not Here [*]’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Skkyscraper is really the reason why I recommend buying There’s Only Now. Snowman (3:36) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Someone New - Eskobar, Heather Nova is almost impossible to review. Music and lyrics of Something Is Lost creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Eskobar is hitting on all cylinders in Tell Me I’m Wrong. Tumbling Down [*] is nothing but pure genius. Voice and instruments in Why London? complement each other. Best song on the album, love it.
