It’s natural for Eskobar to take a stab at ‘Cold Night’ considering her long-professed love for Universal Soul. Eskobar had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Stanley Donwood has compared writing for Eskobar’s new album to that on ‘A Thousand Last Chances’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. I wish that “A Thousand Last Chances” album was instrumental.
One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Big Sleeper because the melody in the chorus is so good. Music of You Got Me is gentle, never overbearing. Voice of Eskobar in Fly On The Wall is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. There is amazing mix of music in Love Comes First. The song feels complete. Love Strikes is the most memorable and marvelous. Under These Stars - a classic song. Bring The Ation is nothing but pure genius. Freedom is absolutely incredible. Even If You Know Me is a striking and quite long song.
