Los Tigres del Norte’s debut, ‘21 Corridos Vol.1′, does not fit easily into one genre. I am not a real Latin music type of person, but i have to admit ‘21 Corridos Vol.1′ really is amazing. Music of EL HIJO DE TIJUANA is gentle, never overbearing. The first time I listened to EL MOJADO ACAUDALADO I was struck by its exquisite sound. 21 Corridos Vol.1 couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track EL TRIUNFO. Such hits like LA CAMIONETA GRIS will leave you hooked. EL REPORTERO - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. PACAS DE A KILO good vocals. ADIOS AMIGO is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Los Tigres del Norte. EL CURA - another great track from the 21 Corridos Vol.1 album. CARRERA CONTRA LA MUERTE is a striking and quite long song. Some of the arrangements found on 21 Corridos Vol.1 are surprisingly edgy. LOS TRES AMIGOS make listening to Los Tigres del Norte like being in some sort of time warp. CONTRABANDO Y TRAICION presents the excellent mix of instruments on 21 Corridos Vol.1. Los Tigres del Norte is one of artists that allow his songs like EL GATO FELIX to stand on their own and be heard. Los Tigres del Norte offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Although LA BRONCO NEGRA is very melodic it is far from sad. LA MUERTE DEL SOPLON - To me, this is the best song on the 21 Corridos Vol.1. I hope to keep hearing Los Tigres del Norte works for a long time to come. LA FUGA DEL ROJO is simply cool. After about the third EL CANELO listen through, I began to believe this song is Los Tigres del Norte’s essence.
