Directo al corazo isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This album has some very good songs like Socios and Celebrando tu partida. There is so much to love about Los Tigres del Norte, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Smart music for smart people.
Celebrando tu partida is one of my favorite songs by Los Tigres del Norte. Los Tigres del Norte offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. The first time I listened to La sorpresa I was struck by its amazing sound. Although Viva Sinaloa is very melodic it is far from sad. Al corazon le vale hits the heart. A ellas is a great opener for Directo al corazo. Orgullo mexicano is the excellent blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. No llores por ella defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. La neta de las netas is one of the coolest songs Los Tigres del Norte has ever recorded. Directo al corazon is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Los Tigres del Norte has astounded me with this amazing track. Me dicen perseverante is a medium tempo tune. Atrapado (2:38) - awsome.
