Henri Salvador was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Henri Salvador and Monsieur Henri together. This is one of the best Cd’s Henri Salvador has dropped to date. John Digester has compared writing for Henri Salvador’s new album to that on ‘Monsieur Henri’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Henri Salvador is one of my favourite bands of all time.
The song feels complete. Q’uest c’que j’aime is a very catchy tune. Layla is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. J’ai du faire le con quelque part - a classic song. I now have La main au cul as one of my personal favorites. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Pieds palmes - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Yes or no is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. I like the agression and power of Rock roquet. Envie de toi is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction.
