one years ago, Alihan Samedov briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Karabag Sikestesi”. Alihan Samedov’s debut, ‘Nale’, does not fit easily into one genre. This is the first studio album from Alihan Samedov since bad diagnosis in 2004. Nale is not something you should pass up.
One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Karabag Sikestesi. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Nale. Music in Rocket is gorgeous as in all tracks of Nale. Charming song, great melody. Vocals of Alihan Samedov in Nale really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Azerbaycan Marali is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Yaz Aksami (Jazz) on Nale is solid and easy to listen to. I like Asya because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Duet Club is a good listen every once in a while. Nerede Kaldin is another strong production from Alihan Samedov.
