This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Sophia. Lead single “The End Of The Age” and “Machine” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Sophia’s album Deconstruktion Of The World falls to No. 2 with 224,000, a sales slide of 85%. Sophia is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Machine is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Sophia ever produced. Downfall is absolutely incredible. Condescension is simply astounding. Humanicide stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Soiled is probably the highlight of the album. Severed is a very catchy tune. Contrition - A nice song. Unperturbed is a great opener for Deconstruktion Of The World. Aftermath is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen.
