Cursive’s debut, ‘The Difference Between Houses and Homes (Lost Songs and Loose Ends 1995-2001)’, does not fit easily into one genre. ‘The Difference Between Houses and Homes (Lost Songs and Loose Ends 1995-2001)’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. It has been fourteen years Cursive’ last studio CD, “The Difference Between Houses and Homes (Lost Songs and Loose Ends 1995-2001)” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Smart music for smart people.
And the Bit Just Chokes Them - A catchy, upbeat tune. Dispenser - To me, this is the best song on the The Difference Between Houses and Homes (Lost Songs and Loose Ends 1995-2001). I believe Disruption in the Normal Swing of Things is one of the most perfect, heartfelt songs ever written. I Thought There’d Be More Than This - This one makes me want to not only sing along. In Icebreakers the music gets its power. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Nostalgia is my favorite song on The Difference Between Houses and Homes (Lost Songs and Loose Ends 1995-2001). Pivotal is really the reason why I recommend buying The Difference Between Houses and Homes (Lost Songs and Loose Ends 1995-2001). Polar - Okay, I just talked about depth. Sucker and Dry is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Cursive released so far. The Knowledgeable Hasbeens sets the tone for the entire album. There’s a Coldest Day in Every Year (2:26) - Oh, this is one of my favorites!
