seven years ago, Aliyah briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “”. Lead single “Try Again (Unknown DnB Remix)” and “” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Now signed to Aliyah’s Capitol Records, the title track from second album “CDR” leads Aliyah’s back-to-school campaign. Aliyah is one of my favourite bands of all time.
