seven years ago, Sage Francis briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Sea Lion”. There were many famous songs of Sage Francis available. This is the first studio album from Sage Francis since bad diagnosis in 2004. To me Sage Francis is the best band ever.
Sea Lion - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Sage Francis. Gunz Yo gets you up and jumping. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. In Product Placement the music gets its power. In Voice Mail Bomb Threat it becomes nowhere more obvious that Sage Francis has yet to define own style. Dance Monkey is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Charming song, great melody. Put Agony In Her Body into car stereo for your highway driving Crumble has a fun tempo. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Sage Francis. Slow Down Gandhi is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Jah Didn’t Kill Johnny make listening to Sage Francis like being in some sort of time warp.
