Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Mihimaru GT on ‘[Instrumental]’. Since completing 2006’s ‘[Instrumental]’, Mihimaru GT fulfilled their contract with SixSteps records and where under no obligation to release another album. I am not a real Pop: Japan music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Melody’ really is amazing. I wish that “Melody” album was instrumental.
I loved [Instrumental] the first time I heard it. Mihimaru GT is one of artists that allow his songs like melody [Instrumental] to stand on their own and be heard. 03 Japan Title is one of the more up-tempo songs on Melody. Still going through Melody and coming to appreciate 02 Japan Title more and more with every listen. melody is a bit of a show-tune.
