After seeing Club de Las Feas, I had to have a good Banda el Recodo cd. Since completing 2006’s ‘Club de Las Feas’, Banda el Recodo fulfilled their contract with EMI Records and where under no obligation to release another album. I am not a real Latin music type of person, but i have to admit ‘A Las Mujeres Que Ame’ really is amazing. Unappreciated gift to Latin
It took me a little time but I ended up loving Mejor de Mi Vida. Que Solo Estoy Sin Ti is possibly the best song Banda el Recodo has come up. No Puedo Vivir Sin Ti without a doubt is the standout song of A Las Mujeres Que Ame. Mujeres Divinas - A strong beat. Gracias por Tu Amor - This is a very lively song. Nos Estorbo La Ropa is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through A Las Mujeres Que Ame. This track is a great song that still never gets old. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Para Toda La Vida very upbeat. Hola Mi Amor is so unique, as each one of the songs is. A great put together song. Listening to Aca Entre Nos you can hear that Banda el Recodo has still amazing chemistry with band members. Once you hear Yo Quiero Ser, you will listen to it over and over. Tengo una Ilusion is one of the more up-tempo songs on A Las Mujeres Que Ame. Cuando Llegaste Tu - another great track from the A Las Mujeres Que Ame album. I like to sing along with Por Ti, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Some call No Puedo Estar Sin Tu Amor from A Las Mujeres Que Ame as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Banda el Recodo rocks harder than ever with No Me Dejes Nunca, Nunca. This song may be the most meaningful. Hermoso Cari - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. A Las Mujeres Que Ame couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Y Llegaste Tu. Te Ofrezco un Corazon stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Me Faltas Tu is a good listen every once in a while.
